JOKENAVIGATOR
Real directions. Good company.
A driving navigator with a co-pilot that knows when to keep it brief.
A route that belongs to you
Search real places, calculate a driving route, and start navigation from your actual GPS position. The map and directions use OpenStreetMap data, OSRM routing and Photon place search. There is no prerecorded journey or animated vehicle pretending to follow your location.
Directions first
Spoken guidance follows your progress along the calculated route. If a reliable GPS signal shows you have left the route, the app requests a new one. Dad Jokes, Dry & Witty and Friendly Co-pilot add short lines during longer, quieter sections. Set humour to Off for directions only.
Using navigation
Choose a destination and allow location access when you start. Keep this page visible and your device connected to the internet. A weak or old GPS fix suspends guidance; the app does not invent a position. Switching away pauses navigation. Resume calculates a route from your current location.
Set up your trip before moving. Follow road signs, restrictions and the conditions around you. The current version provides driving routes, not truck-specific routing. It has no live traffic, speed-limit warnings, lane-level guidance, offline maps or guaranteed background navigation.
Maps and availability
The current configuration uses shared public map services, which can be unavailable or rate-limited. Travel times are estimates without live traffic. A selected address or map point may lie away from a drivable road; the route ends at the location the routing service can reach.
Voice and preferences
English voices are supplied by your browser or device. You can choose an available voice, change the speaking speed, mute audio and switch distance units. Voice availability and network requirements vary by device. Saved places and preferences stay in your browser; clearing site data removes them.
